Blubber To Runner

So this blog is about my logo.

Kinda weird to think about that… that I need some kind of logo for the blog, etc.  I’d be lying if I said it had not crossed my mind in the past, but recent events led me to really make an effort to get this squared away.  One of my followers – turned friend – Maria ran a race recently.  Before the race she said “I’m gonna make a shirt”… here’s the shirt:

Humbling to be honest.  Kinda left me speechless.  She got one, Jennifer got one… but now, after she posted it on my Facebook page, everyone began asking me about “getting shirts” and stuff.  To be honest, I got a little overwhelmed… people were sending me suggestions, asking about sizing, would there be an iPhone case (yes, this was asked) and a bunch more.  So I started throwing out some feelers.  Two people in particular made an effort to engage me to get the ball rolling – Mark Lindamood and Jennifer Cline.  I can’t thank them enough for taking time to talk to me a little and offer their assistance on this project.

Jennifer is multi-talented – Beachbody coach, fitness instructor, web/ graphic designer, zombie hunter, ninja… the list goes on and on.

Mark is OK… he’s a guy I know.  Just kidding – Mark is a great friend,  music producer, web designer – and currently my co-host on No Filter Radio (you DO know about No Filter Radio, right???)

Anyhow, both are extremely talented individuals at EVERYTHING they do so, if you have any needs in the areas I linked above, PLEASE reach out to them.  You won’t regret it.

Mark ultimately designed my logo – after a bunch of nitpicky e-mails I sent him about how I wanted it to look.  I had a vision and he made it a reality.  So… without further ado, ladies and gentlemen… my new logo:

I’d love feedback on it, good and bad.  Mark laid out EXACTLY what I asked him to do and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
